The Caribbean themed carnival consists of vibrant floats, performers and costumes galore.
Notting Hill Carnival is one of the biggest street festivals in the world and is one of London’s biggest cultural events. It attracts hundreds of thousands of people to West London every year.
The first day of the event (Sunday 26th August) is children’s day, and the second (Monday 27th August) is adult’s day. The first has a shorter parade route and prizes for the best costumes are awarded. Adult’s day features the main parade and a very busy street party that runs until late at night, so be sure to book a nearby hotel to immerse yourself fully.
Music is a key part of Notting Hill Carnival featuring traditional and contemporary sounds from across the globe. Performers range from local bands to international artists and DJs. The official line up is usually announced in the weeks before the carnival.
The Nadler Kensington hotel is situated near to the centre of all the festivities, so if you are planning on attending the biggest party of the year then check our availability to ensure you don’t miss out!
