Discover this gourmet's paradise in London. Spreading across several streets in the Brick Lane area, you'll find both junk and gems in this market! There's bric-a-brac, second-hand furniture, shoes and lots more. Camden Lock is the central hub of Camden's huge market. Here you'll find an extensive range of goods from designer clothes and accessories, to one-off pieces of art, food and furnishings. There's also designer workshops, studios, stalls, shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. Open everyday from 10am-6pm.


Portobello Road has been a market since the 1800s but became particularly famous for its antiques in the 1950s. Now there are numerous stalls offering everything from fruit and bread to posters, clothes, music and, of course, loads of antiques! Monday to Wedsnesday open from 9am-6pm, thursday 9am-1pm, friday and saturday open from 9am-7pm. 


Anyone with green fingers should make a stop here for plants, shrubs, bulbs and trees. This colourful street market is a must-see. You can also pick up gardening accessories from the surrounding shops, and make sure you take home some of the gorgeous cut-flowers on offer. Open every sunday from 8am-3pm. 


Popular covered market selling everything from clothes to food to artwork. Nearby you'll also find specialist shops, hairdressers and restaurants. Broadway Market in Hackney sells an eclectic mix of goods from local farmers, artists and craftspeople in order to temp the customer to sample and buy. Shop here for delicious ingredients, tasty ready-made food, exciting and unusual clothes and gifts as well as furniture, lighting and more! Open on saturdays only from 7.30am-6pm.


Greenwich Market has beautiful products from designer makers and small cottage industries. Weekends are busiest, with about 150 stalls selling an enticing range of jewellery, pictures, clothes and accessories, and unique gifts. There's also a food court and local shops selling even more goodies. Open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am-5.30pm. 


Housed in and around the iconic Market Building and Piazzas, Covent Garden is an architectural masterpiece. Along with the speciality shops, restaurants & cafés is the Apple craft market where you're sure to be entertained by street performers while perusing the wares on offer. Don't be confused by the name – the market is actually located on Middlesex and Wentworth Streets near Liverpool Street station. Open on Sundays from 9am-2pm.
